The Guru Chandal Dosh Shanti Puja is a Hindu ritual performed to mitigate the negative effects of the Guru Chandal Yoga or Dosh in one's horoscope. This dosh occurs when Jupiter (Guru) is in conjunction (in the same house) with Rahu (or sometimes Ketu) in a birth chart. It can also be formed if Jupiter aspects Rahu or Ketu too closely.
